Each series is an extended exploration of a subject that moves me deeply -
painted in layers of oil, acrylic and collage until the canvas holds what words
cannot.

OUTSIDE THE SERIES

Unique
Works

Some paintings don't belong to a series — they arrive fully formed, a single idea demanding its own canvas. These are works born from curiosity, experimentation, or a moment that asked to be held in paint.

Each piece stands alone. No siblings, no sequels. Original mixed-media on canvas, each with its own story and available as a once-only purchase

THE ARTIST

From Medicine
to Mixed Media

"For twenty years I have helped people heal their bodies. Now I help them feed their souls."

Tricia Overvliet is a Wagga Wagga-based mixed-media artist who traded a career in medicine for a life in paint. Her work layers oils, acrylics, collage, and text — building surfaces that carry both physical and emotional depth. Each canvas begins with energy and ends with intention.

“A whale doesn’t only belong in the ocean — it can swim through a forest, drift through the stars. I want to show you a piece of how I see things, and in that, maybe you’ll find a piece of yourself.”

Then collage — pieces of my own poetry, words that feel right, fragments pressed into the surface where they'll be hidden forever…
