TERMS & CONDITIONS
TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms apply when you buy from triciaovervliet.com.au. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Who we are
This website is run by Tricia Overvliet, a mixed-media artist based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia (ABN 28 696 814 434). You can reach us at info@triciaovervliet.com.au.
Original artworks
Every original painting is one of a kind. Sizes are given in millimetres or centimetres and are approximate. Colours can look different on different screens; we photograph each work carefully, but the painting in person may vary slightly from its image.
Limited edition prints
Prints are produced by a professional print lab on fine art paper or canvas, as described on each listing. Each print is part of a limited edition, and the edition size is shown on its listing. Once an edition sells out, it will not be reprinted.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We accept payment by card (through Stripe) and PayPal. Your order is confirmed once payment is received.
If an original sells to two buyers at almost the same moment, the first completed payment secures it and the other buyer receives a full refund.
Commissions
Commissions begin with a conversation about your idea, followed by initial concept drawings. A 50% deposit is due before work begins, with the balance payable when the painting is finished and before it is shipped.
The deposit is refundable if you cancel before concept drawings begin. Once concept work has started, the deposit is non-refundable. Timeframes are agreed for each commission, as they depend on the concept, the drawings, and the drying time needed before a painting can be sealed and shipped.
Copyright
When you buy an artwork, you own that physical piece. Copyright in the artwork stays with Tricia Overvliet. This means the image may not be reproduced, printed or used commercially without written permission. Tricia may continue to show the work on her website, in social media and in prints.
Shipping and returns
See our Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy for details.
